TRAUMA & THE TROUBLES

Have you emigrated to the US as a result of the political and social conditions in Northern Ireland? Do you feel as though your experiences still affect your daily life in the US? Have you lived through the trauma of  9-11?  Have you suffered the loss of a loved one, or did you experience first hand the aftermath of this tragedy?

Fear and exposure to violence or even threats of violence impact how we function in our daily lives. The consequences of witnessing or experiencing violent events can result in long term and intense distress.
