COPING WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Relationships often don’t start out abusive. Abusers can initially appear charming and sensitive. Ask yourself, are you going out with someone who:

· Acts jealous or possessive?

· Is bossy and gives orders?

· Puts you down and criticizes you?

· Threatens to hurt you?

· Makes decisions without consulting you?

· Has a violent temper?

· Constantly calls to question where you are?

· Makes you feel afraid and alone?
